我從小到大都非常喜愛音樂。在我小時，祖母讓我去學琴及加入合唱團。到了大學，在音樂系混了幾年，修了一些鋼琴和聲樂課，然而我還是決定主修一門與音樂毫無關係的科系──電腦，但音樂在我充滿混亂的人生中卻還是一股支持我的堅定力量。
在我成為基督徒後，上帝常藉著音樂安慰我。藉著寫音樂使我能著眼於上帝的溫柔慈愛，而忘卻生活中的勞苦愁煩。
去年，經由上帝的話語，帶領及禱告，上帝要我將這些詩歌與人分享，讓心靈破碎和未識神恩的人知道上帝是他們的依靠。我希望上帝藉由這些歌賜福給尋求祂的人，讓他們能在神裡面得到盼望與安慰。

I’ve always loved music. When I was very young
my grandmother took me to piano lessons and enrolled me in choirs. During my college
years in US, I even toyed with the idea of majoring in music. After trying both
piano and voice I eventually decided to major in something far away from music –
Computer Science.
Music remains to be the constant factor in my,
otherwise, emotionally chaotic life. After I became a Christian, God often used
music to comfort and lift me up. I write music to keep me focusing on God's
tender mercies and His unchanging love for me rather than the often dreadful circumstances
in life.
Last year, through His words, guidance and the
prayers of many, God showed me that He wants me to share these songs with others.
There are many people who are broken-hearted and don’t know there is a loving God
they can turn to. It is my wish that God will use these songs to bless others who
will find hope and rest in Him. -Lillian
